About Us

We did not build Feedora to start assessing organizations.

We spent years assessing organizations so that Feedora could be built.

Behind Feedora is a multidisciplinary team whose experience extends far beyond software design.

Our core team consists of 7 people, supported by a broader group of specialists from different fields. In total, around 15 people contribute to the development, research, analysis, assessment, and evolution of Feedora.

Members of our team have experience in fields such as information technology management and governance, information security, infrastructure, IT services, enterprise systems, project management, business intelligence, data and analytics, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and software development.

But more important than our different areas of expertise, there is one thing we share:

We know organizations from the inside.

More Than a Decade Inside Organizations

For around 13 years, part of our professional work has focused on assessing and examining the state of information technology within organizations.

Over the years, we have worked with companies across a wide range of industries and sectors—from oil, gas, petrochemicals, and energy to manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, cement, services, distribution, finance and banking, project-based organizations, and research institutions.

In some organizations, we encountered weak infrastructure.

In others, the primary challenge was information security.

In some, IT processes existed, but there was no effective governance over them.

In one organization, numerous technology projects had been defined, yet there was no clear connection between those projects and the organization's actual business challenges.

And in many holding companies, we encountered a common problem:

The holding company's IT manager is responsible for the technology of dozens of companies, yet lacks a suitable tool for seeing the real picture across those organizations.

This very challenge was one of the most important reasons Feedora took shape.

Experience That Became a Product

Feedora was not designed from behind a desk.

Much of what you see in Feedora today is the result of years of experience gained through assessment meetings, visits to organizations, document reviews, conversations with managers and specialists, project analysis, and the preparation of management reports.

Every time we assessed an organization, new questions emerged.

  • Why does a company continue to face serious problems despite significant investment in information technology?
  • Why can two companies with similar budgets have completely different levels of IT maturity?
  • Why can an organization's IT function be technically sound while its users remain dissatisfied?
  • Which weakness needs to be identified before it turns into a crisis?
  • How can the performance of dozens of different companies be compared using a common measure?

And perhaps more importantly:

How can a senior IT manager, faced with hundreds of indicators and thousands of data points, understand where to intervene?

Over time, these questions became models, indicators, assessment methodologies, and ultimately, Feedora's capabilities.

We Do Not See Information Technology Only from a Technology Perspective

One of the defining characteristics of our team is the combination of technical, managerial, and organizational experience.

We believe that assessing information technology is not simply a matter of examining servers, networks, software, or security.

Information technology becomes meaningful when it supports the organization's objectives.

For this reason, when assessing an organization, we look beyond technology to areas such as governance, risk, organizational structure, human resources, service quality, user satisfaction, data, projects, investments, and the path of digital transformation.

This perspective is the result of years of working in the real-world environment of organizations.

Experience in Technology Management at Holding-Company Scale

At the head of this team is more than 20 years of professional experience in information technology and digital transformation, a substantial part of which has been developed across the oil, gas, petrochemical, energy, manufacturing, services, and holding-company sectors.

This experience is not limited to technology management. It also spans areas such as IT governance, information security, IT service management, business intelligence, digital transformation, and the assessment of organizational IT maturity.

Working at the level of a large holding company and confronting the information technology challenges of dozens of subsidiaries has meant that the Feedora team's perspective is not limited to a single company or industry.

We see the problem from the position of a manager who must make decisions across dozens of companies, hundreds of projects, different types of risk, and a vast volume of information.

Frameworks such as COBIT 2019, ITIL 4, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO 31000, and ISMS, together with practical experience, have also formed part of the knowledge foundation behind this journey.

An Interdisciplinary Team

Feedora is not the result of a single discipline.

To understand the real state of an organization's information technology, different perspectives need to come together.

For this reason, different areas of expertise work side by side within our team: specialists in organizational and technology management, security and infrastructure experts, data and business intelligence analysts, digital transformation specialists, project managers, software developers, and people focused on research and the development of assessment and analysis models.

Feedora is where these experiences come together.

We Are Still Learning

We do not regard Feedora as a finished product.

Every assessment, every organization, and every new industry brings new data and new experience.

Our team continuously researches new assessment methods, maturity models, data analysis, artificial intelligence, anomaly detection, company benchmarking, user experience analysis, trend forecasting, and ways of turning technology information into meaningful managerial insight.

Therefore, what exists in Feedora today is not simply the digital version of a questionnaire.

Feedora is the collective memory of our years of experience confronting the real information-technology challenges of organizations.

13 Years of Technology-Assessment Experience, 15 People, One Shared Question

How can the information technology of a large organization truly be seen?

Not the way it is written in reports.

Not the way each company describes itself.

But in a way that can be measured, compared, analyzed, and acted upon.

Our team's years-long effort to answer this question has a name today:

Feedora.

Our experience has become Feedora.
